Tarangire Safari Lodge is situated in a superb position, built on top of a high bluff with breathtaking views overlooking the Tarangire River, a favourite watering place for impressive numbers of animals.

There are 35 luxury tents built on a solid base and with thatched roofs. All have dressing area and en suite bathrooms with solar heated shower and ample hot water.  Each has its own veranda.  There are also circular bungalows built from local stone, light, airy and tastefully furnished, with en suite facilities and an outside seating area where you can relax and unwind.

A thatch roof dining room serves home cooked safari and international cuisine using fresh local ingredients.  The open sides of the dining room allow you uninterrupted views of the landscape while dining.  There is a lounge with comfortable armchairs made from the wood of old Zanzibar dhow boats, and also a swimming pool with water slide and splash pool, and a boutique. 

Activities available are game drives, bird walk around the lodge grounds.
